The elderly house is a new house, not a prison
Elderly houses around the cities are transformed into forgotten heterogeneous spots in which rare numbers of designers and planners show interest. While the elders will spend about two decades of their social lives in such places. There are two types of perspectives toward the elderly houses:
First, which endure the typical one is considering the elders as disabled and socially consuming. This kind of thinking is what has founded prison-like elderly houses with fences all around.
In contrast in this project, we consider the elders as our diverse heritage which needs to be taken care of in the best way possible. This is why for designing the building envelope in which they are conveyed to live for their final decades we decided to design individual and customized houses for each to make their transition like a new move rather than a banishment.
In this design, we were focused on demolishing the isolation of this functionality in the city to make it interact with the surroundings.
In conclusion, we believe this project doesn’t narrow down to its site. The concept of this project is what is meant as a developed model to progressively expand its creative vision beyond its boundaries to undoubtedly cause a new dialogue with the modern city.

خانه سالمندان سلولی برای آنها نیست
خانه سالمندان نقطه هایی هتروژن در نظام های شهری هستند. نقاطی فراموش شده که برای طراحان از آخرین اولویت برخوردار است. این درحالیست که سالمندان قریب بر دو دهه زندگی خود را در این ساختمان ها سپری میکنند. نوع نگرش به این امر باعث میشود دو نوع مسیر اتخاذ کردد.
در صورتی که سالمندان را نوعی افراد از کارافتاده و به لحاظ اجتماعی مصرفگرا تلقی کنیم با چهره ای از ساختمان ها مواجه میشویم که بیش از هرچیز به تبعیدگاهی سلول وار بدل میگردند با نرده ایی بلند و پنجره هایی کم فروغ.
در این پروژه ما نگرش خود را نسبت به سالمندان بر اساس سرمایه های اجتماعی و گنجینه هایی تاثیر گذار معطوف کردیم. به همین سبب برای طراحی کالبدی برای زندگی دوران کهنسالی به جای ترسیم زندان هایی که اشک طرد شدگی را بر چهره سالمندان می آورد تصمیم به طراحی خانه های مستقل برای هریک کردیم. تا بیش از تبعید برای آنها حسی مانند اسباب کشی ای به منزلی دلپذیر تر را تداعی کند..
در این طراحی همچنین سعی کردیم که تعامل این هتروتوپیای شهری را با فعالیت های مجاورش به حداکثر برسانیم تا از انزوای جزیره ای این عملکرد دریافت شهری جلوگیری کنیم.
به همین سبب این پروژه را بیش از آنکه محدود به سایت و بستر خود بدانیم الگویی تصور میکنیم که بتواند نوع نگاهش را به این عملکرد در سایر پروژه هایی از این دست تکثیر کند و در خود خلاصه نشود بلکه همواره با شهر در تعامل باشد
